A.     All Master's Degree Programs require registration for the UCNRE Seminar for all full-time students during the Autumn, Winter and Spring Quarters.

B.     Minimum formal class Credit Requirements ( Exclusive of Seminar, Projects & Research):

o        Thesis Option        30 Course Credits

o        Project Option        36 Course Credits

C.     M.S. Degree Minimum Total Credit Requirements: 45 credits, exclusive of seminar credits.

D.    Recently most (but not all) M.S. degree students have completed the “Project Option” and taken 36 class credits. The additional class credits beyond the “named” class credits required by each M.S. program must be from the NRE Technical Elective list on the Program of Studies form. Exceptions to this rule must be approved by the student’s academic advisor and the UCNRE Graduate Studies Director.
